Prune Crackers

These prune & almond crackers are perfect addition to every charcuterie board!

Ingredients

1/2 cup chopped prunes

1/4 cup chopped almonds 

1/4 cup sunflower seeds 

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 cup milk

2 tbsp brown sugar

1 1/2 tbsp honey or maple syrup 

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 

In a medium bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda. Add chopped prunes, almond and sunflower seeds. Stir until well combined. 

Add milk, brown sugar and maple syrup/honey. 

Stir until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Pour mixture into 9”x4” loaf pan lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 50 minutes.

Transfer the loaf to a wire rack and cool down completely.

Using a sharp knife, cut the loaf into thin slices.

Place slices on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 15 minutes, until lightly browned.

 Let crackers cool down completely before serving.
